Block Counting Master: 3D Spatial Reasoning

The Mission: 

You are presented with a stack of 3D blocks. Your task looks simple—count them! But wait, some blocks are hidden underneath or behind others. You must use your spatial imagination (or the helpful tools) to calculate the Total Volume correctly.


Math Skills:

  • Volume & Counting: Calculating total units in a 3D structure.

  • Spatial Reasoning: Visualizing hidden objects based on visible top layers.

  • Decomposition: Breaking a complex shape into layers or rows to count easier.


How to Play:

  1. Observe the Shape: Look at the block structure. Try to estimate how many blocks are there, including the ones you can't see.

  2. Use Tools:

    • Color Layers: Click this button to paint each height level a different color. This makes it easier to see rows.

    • Interactive Layers: Once colored, you can click the Layer Buttons on the right to "lift" specific layers up and see what's underneath!

  3. Make a Guess: Type your number into the box and click the Check (✓) button.

  4. Learn the Math: If you get it right (or want to cheat), the Show Calculation button will light up. Click it to see the math formula (e.g., Layer1+Layer2=Total).
