The Mission:

You are the Origami Detective! Your mission is to find the perfect line of symmetry for various paper shapes. You must place the dashed line in the exact center so that when the paper folds, both halves match perfectly without any overlapping edges!

Math Skills:

• Line of Symmetry: Identifying the axis that divides a shape into two identical mirror-image halves.

• Reflection / Mirroring: Understanding how shapes reflect across a line.

• Spatial Reasoning: Visualizing how a 2D object transforms when folded.

  
  

How to Play:

1. Analyze the Shape: Look at the origami paper shape on the screen.

2. Drag the Line: Click and drag the circular handles on the ends of the blue dashed line to position your guess for the symmetry line.

3. Fold & Test: Click the Fold & Test button. Watch the animation as the paper folds along your line!

4. Check Result: If the halves match perfectly, you win! If the red edges stick out, adjust your line and try again. Click Next Shape to continue.

2. 拖動虛線: 點擊並拖動藍色虛線兩端的圓形控制點，將其放置在你認為是對稱軸的位置。

3. 摺疊測試: 點擊 「摺疊測試」(Fold & Test) 按鈕。觀看紙張沿著你的虛線對摺的動畫！
