Glowing Ant Patrol: Circumference & Perimeter

The Mission: 

Identify the perimeter of the glowing colored region! You must tap all the outside lines and avoid the inner lines to find the true perimeter of complex shapes.

Math Skills:

• Circumference Calculation: Calculating the length of full circles (D×π), semi-circles, and arcs.

• Perimeter Logic: Understanding that the perimeter only includes the outer boundaries of a shape, not the lines inside.

• Combining Shapes: Adding straight edges and curved arcs together to find the total length. 

  
  

How to Play:

1. Observe the Shape: Look at the glowing geometric shape and its dimensions on the screen.

2. Tap the Boundaries: Click or tap exactly on the outer line segments and arcs.

3. Watch the Formula: Once you successfully select all the correct outer boundaries, a golden Formula Panel will appear showing exactly how the perimeter is calculated.

4. Replay or Continue: Click the Replay ↺ button to see the animation again, or click the Next Question ➔ button to proceed to a new shape!
