The Mission:
Deduce the relative weight of three different geometric shapes by observing two scales.
Math Skills:
Logical Deduction: Comparing sets of data to find hidden mathematical relationships.
Inequalities: Determining Greater Than (>), Less Than (<), or Equal To (=) relationships.
Substitution: Using the balance of one scale to simplify the other.
How to Play:
Select: Tap either Scale 1 or Scale 2 to select it.
Simplify: Use the toolbar buttons to Add or Subtract the same shape from both sides, or Double and Halfthe objects to find the simplest weight relationship.
Solve: Compare the shapes and determine which is heavier.
Answer: Drag and Drop the correct math symbol (>, <, =) into the answer slots at the bottom.
Check: Click Check Answer to see if your reasoning is correct.
Tip: Use the Reset button if you get stuck and want to return to the original puzzle.
