The Mission: 

Match the Target Equation by interacting directly with a line on a coordinate plane! Manipulate the slope and y-intercept to perfectly recreate the equation.


Math Skills:

  • Linear Equations: Understanding the slope-intercept form (y = mx + c).

  • Slope (m): Changing the steepness and direction of a line.

  • Y-Intercept (c): Moving a line up and down along the y-axis.


How to Play:

  1. Read the Target Equation at the top of the screen (e.g., y = 2x - 1).

  2. Drag the blue square up or down to adjust the y-intercept (c).

  3. Drag the green circle around to rotate the line and change its slope (m).

  4. Once Your Line matches the target, click the Submit button to verify!
