Time Jumper: Number Line Bridge

The Mission: 

Calculate the total elapsed time by making two visual jumps on a timeline—first jumping to the nearest full hour, and then jumping to the final minutes!


Math Skills:

  • Time Duration: Calculating elapsed time between a start and end point.

  • Number Line Addition: Adding hours and minutes visually on a horizontal number line.


How to Play:

  1. Set the Anchor: Drag the middle point on the timeline to snap it to the exact full hour mark (the mid-point time).

  2. Input the Jumps: Fill in the hours elapsed for the first jump arc and the minutes elapsed for the second jump arc into the small text boxes.

  3. Calculate Total: Add the two jumps together and fill in the total elapsed hours and minutes in the speech bubble at the top.

  4. Check Answers: Click the Check Jumps button to verify. If correct, the frog will animate its jumps across the timeline!

任務簡介: 

在時間線上進行兩次視覺化的跳躍，首先跳到最接近的整點，然後跳到最終的分鐘，藉此計算出總共經過的時間！

玩法說明:

  1. 設定錨點: 拖曳時間線上的中間點，將其對齊到準確的整點標記（中介時間）。

  2. 輸入跳躍數值: 在小文字框中填寫第一個跳躍弧線經過的小時數，以及第二個跳躍弧線經過的分鐘數。

  3. 計算總和: 將兩次跳躍相加，並在頂部的對話框中填寫總共經過的小時和分鐘。

  4. 檢查答案: 點擊 「檢查跳躍」(Check Jumps) 按鈕進行驗證。如果答對了，青蛙就會在時間線上表演跳躍動畫！
