The Seed Packing Factory: Fraction Division

• The Mission: 

  It is harvest time! You have a large shipment of seeds (Total Weight), and you need to pack them into smaller bags to sell. Your job is to divide the total amount by the bag size to calculate exactly how many full bags you can create and how much seed is left over.

  
  

• Math Skills:

  • Dividing Fractions: Total÷BagSize.

  • Mixed Numbers: Converting improper fractions into whole numbers (bags) and remainders.

  • Visualization: Understanding division as "how many groups of X fit into Y".

    
    

• How to Play:

  1. Check the Scale: Look at the Main Scale to see the total weight of seeds available (e.g., "5 kg").

  2. Check Bag Size: Look at the small bag icon to see how much one bag holds (e.g., "2/3 kg").

  3. Pack Bags: Click "Pack One Bag". The machine will subtract that amount from the total.

  4. Repeat: Keep clicking until you do not have enough seeds left to fill a whole bag.

  5. Ship It: Count the number of full bags and read the remaining weight on the scale. Enter the answer as "X Bags"and "Remainder Y", then click "Ship".
