The Mission:

The cute octopus needs to cross the water by jumping on the stone bubbles! To help it jump, you must solve multiplication and division math problems involving decimals. Your mission is to figure out which direction the decimal point should jump, and how many steps it needs to take!

Math Skills:

• Decimal Place Value: Understanding how the value of a decimal changes when moving the decimal point.

• Multiplying by 10, 100, 1000: Knowing the decimal jumps to the Right to make the number bigger.

• Dividing by 10, 100, 1000: Knowing the decimal jumps to the Left to make the number smaller.

  
  

How to Play:

1. Read the Equation: Look at the math problem at the top (e.g., 1.25 x 100).

2. Choose Direction: Click the Jump Left button for division ($\div$), or the Jump Right button for multiplication ($\times$).

3. Choose Steps: How many zeros are there? Click the 1, 2, or 3 button to tell the octopus how many steps to jump.

4. Watch it Jump: If you are correct, the octopus will happily jump and reveal the final answer!
